Kia ora, I’m Charlotte, a designer.
I lead design teams to solve complex problems as we deliver on ambitious and innovative digital products - always exploring solutions that keep business objective, technology opportunities, and user goals front of mind. I combine my expertise in strategic design, strategy, speculative design and innovation with a over 13 years of core practice as an Experience Designer.
I believe the most useful products come about through research, collaboration, play and thoughtful validation. They should then be brought to life with creativity and emotion. I take my role to create responsible technology seriously, and am happiest when working for the planet and the people of it.
I’m passionate about creating an open, honest, and safe team environment and enjoy supporting my team’s growth though coaching, mentoring and sponsorship. Always empowering, guiding and encouraging - and forever upskilling as a leader.
I have led discovery, delivery, and advisory inititatives - from startup to enterprise. These have spanned many domains, such as retail, energy, food retail services, logistics, global and national health, government/public sector, and real estate. Having worked in four countries, I bring global experience, knowledge and adaptability to new teams and organisations.
Lastly, I think work is pointless if it’s not also fun.
