Kia ora, I’m Charlotte, a design leader.
I lead design teams to solve complex problems as we deliver bold, innovative digital products - always exploring and designing solutions with the business objective, technology opportunities, and product and user goals front of mind. I combine my expertise in strategic design, product strategy, speculative design and innovation with a over a decade of experience in UX design.
I believe all useful products come about through discovery, research, collaboration and thoughtful validation. They should then be brought to life with creativity and emotion. I take my role to create responsible technology seriously and am happiest when working for the planet and the people of it.
I’m passionate about creating an open, honest, and safe team environment and enjoy supporting my teams growth though coaching, mentoring and sponsorship. Always empowering, guiding and encouraging rather than controlling and demanding.
I have led discovery, delivery, and advisory inititatives - from startup to enterprise. These have spanned many domains, such as retail, renewable energy, food retail services, global and national health, government agencies, and real estate. Having worked in four countries, I bring global experience, knowledge and adaptability to new teams and organisations.
Lastly, I think work is pointless if it’s not also fun.
