Reece 3D bathroom planner

Reece wanted a 3D bathroom planner that would outshine anything in the global market. A product that is intuitive, beautiful, and powerful enough to close deals for trade partners and empower home renovators to hone and share their vision.
As Lead Designer and Engagement Lead, I drove strategy and design for this fast paced, technically complex project before it went on to win a Good Design Award.
Collaboration between engineering, product and design was critical and enabled us to work through complex technical constraints while still meeting our ambitious timelines. Our partnership with the client team helped us get a product to market that we were all proud of - we worked in their offices as a happy, high functioning team.
Within the first 3 months, 30,000+ customers had designed their dream bathrooms with a product that now powers customer self-service, showroom consultations, and trade proposals.
The design challenge was making complex 3D planning feel effortless. Through continuous product validation and user research, we were able to deliver a planner that gave customers genuine renovation confidence, and creates a truely unique in store experience for Reece’s customers.
